Look to the future at annual meeting

NEAS directors will formally unveil the future direction of North East Ambulance Service at the Trust’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 24 September.

The AGM provides a chance for trust members, governors and the public to hear an overview of the trust’s activities over the last year, view the annual accounts and the annual report.

The chosen venue is Teesside University’s brand new flagship teaching facility, The Curve. The AGM will be held in Room TG.02 from 12.30pm -3pm.

Members of the public are also invited to attend the public board meeting, which will be held beforehand in Room T3.03 at 10am.

Ashley Winter, NEAS Chairman, said: “Although our AGM traditionally looks back at the last year, this year’s event provides us with a great opportunity to look forward to our future.

“We are excited to be unveiling our new mission, vision and values, which underpin what our organisation stands for and what it strives to be.

“We have strong links with the university through their Paramedic Practice course and are delighted that they are hosting this very important event in our calendar.

“We hope you will join us in our celebration of what has been achieved over the last year and what we hope to achieve over the next year and beyond.”

If you would like to attend the AGM and the public board meeting then please let us know in advance by contacting our Trust Secretary,  Jennifer Boyle, on Jennifer.boyle@neas.nhs.uk or 0191 430 2001.
